In 1996, Master Andy Latherow started a Martial Arts club at the Cape Canaveral Recreation Center.
By 1999 the club had outgrown the Recreation Center and Master Latherow moved the school to an expanded facility in Merritt Island, Florida. The school was named "Space Coast Martial Arts". In 2001 another location was added in Cocoa Beach, Florida. In the Fall of 2003 a third location was opened in Titusville, Florida.
In 2010 the 3 locations were turned over to his students and he moved to Tucson, AZ. Since that time Master Latherow worked as the Chief Instructor for Chief Master Choi and Master Feiles at the Marana Academy.
In July of 2011 he took over as the owner/operator.
